Yes, we saw that again recently. Great film. But can't remember now exactly where...was it in the background, walking past that gap between the houses?

Usually it's me who does the spotting & I'm usually correct.

Do you want the answer?

If you mean for "Rear Window", yes, I have already done the spotting in that, just can't remember where in the film (don't have that type of fact-memory).

But if you mean for "Lifeboat" then no thank you!!

In Rear Window there is a view of the living room of the songwriter's apartment across the courtyard. We see a view of a mantle with a clock on it. Hitchcock plays a butler who is seen winding the clock. The appearance is an hour into the movie.

Aw shucks, didn't remember that very well:-)
Mmmm.
Am going to have to be more vigilant when we watch Vertigo.
And get better at remembering.

BTW,did you know that Dial M for Murder was originally shown in 3D? I saw most of the movies mentioned in this thread, including the 3D version of Dial M for Murder at a movie theater in the 1970's during an Alfred Hitchcock movie festival.

I saw it in 3D on TV in the early 80s. It was was a promotional gimmick sponsored by 7/11 Stores which sold the glasses. What I remember most is having a headache by the end of the film.

Probably a result of poorly made glasses.

Probably yes.

The IMAX 3D experience is far superior to the early 3D movie attempts. But now I wear glasses for vision which make wearing the 3D lenses uncomfortable.

IMAX is superb. Our first experience was at the Cape Canaveral Space Museum. We orbited the earth.

Our next experience was surround film in the Epcot Canadian pavilion. The film included dog sledging.
