I accidentally dropped my iPad onto hard floor without a case!
Luckily it landed screen up and was OK!

Yes, get a case, Goofy, especially as you have one of the more expensive iPads.

Goofy, for the sake of all of us and not having a heart attack hearing of a dropped iPad...please get a protective case. You spent a lot of money own that device, would of hated to hear that something bad happened to it.

I recall seeing an invention some years ago. It may have been on Dragon's Den. The developer had produced a case for phones or laptops etc (pre iPad days) from a soft plastic which turned hard on impact and protected its contents.
The demonstration was convincing.
I'm guessing the idea never caught on. Apple?
