One of these days I would like to learn piano/keyboard.

Sent from some Apple doohickey that I own!

It's the gateway instrument. Easy to learn and once you're hooked, you'll want to play other instruments.

Well that's great, wish I did.

My girls learnt piano, they didn't really enjoy it at the time, but it's so nice when they jump on the piano now and then and have a little tinkle.

2 of them then went on and learnt the clarinet and violin.

It's a skill you can use throughout your life. ;)

Nathan, Have you ever thought of doing an electronics servicing course, then eventually going into business fixing computers and TVs?

If you do open a business, don't do it from home as it may upset your mom. ;)

Well you've done very well for yourself.......especially if you have the ability to fix them. ;)

Thanks Leelai, I'm going to take a picture of the 2 TVs I saved, both have electronic tuning

Know any good courses that are good for learning piano/keyboard?

There are many do-it-yourself methods but I find it difficult to recommend them.
The best way to learn is to take lessons. A teacher offers encouragement and has the advantage of close observation.

Couple of questions.

Do you have a piano or access to one?
Can you read music?

Good advice. I've been trying to teach myself on an off for about 45 years. Hasn't happened yet. Teachers are definitely the way to go.
