A Commodore 64 a day keeps the Apple II away!

Nathan your photos of recently acquired treasure
bring back memories. The lighter coloured cabinet model resembles the first 'large' screen television my family owned. It was a 'Motorola' my father purchased 'used' from the local TV / Radio shop. It replaced a smaller, portable 'Admiral' (:)) brand TV.

The other day I went for a circular walk just outside of Bromley town centre and then through the centre.

I wanted to revisit some parts with history and take photos of the 2 Blur Plaques I'm aware of. The Blue Plaque scheme was funded by English Heritage to mark buildings inhabited by the famous and now "departed" throughout England.

I like this little oasis of housing with narrow shortcuts and a couple of pubs within 50 yards of one another.

More photos to follow in the next post ...... :)

These houses are to be found either side of the railway near Bromley North Station.

I believe this is a conservation area. The house walls are bulging, but restrained and safe.

This building was a Department Store - Medhurst later to be Allders Dept Store.

This school is near our home.

That concludes the walk. :)

Great pictures, as usual! It's nice to be able to "take a walk" with you. :-)
I was fascinated by H. G. Wells' birthplace, and - of course - by the pictures of the school near you.

Thanks for another excellent photo tour of Bromley. :)

Taught pops how to play video games. He can do it pretty well. I should have videotaped it, it was so hilarious. Every time something really funny happens, we never have a camera. :(
