The "Anything Goes" thread

Think its talkapak..saw a free app for it, but don't know what it's for..didnt see any answers to it here.

Hi Betty, are you thinking of Tapatalk, the free iPF app for the iPhone? There is a free version available in the App Store.

Went through Apple ID mini-crisis. I saw this pretty neat app I wanted to try, went to my mom (controls all Apple purchases at the house) and asked if I could have it, she said yes and told me to have my brother enter the password (she doesn't remember it or allow me to know it), he tried the one they recently switched it to, but it didn't work, so he did the forgot-the-password thing. He and Mom might change it sooner or later.

Logic should tell you:

Discovered a reason why Apple wins over Samsung. My cousin has a Samsung tablet. To download a game she wanted, she had to get a Google account because it was only on Google play, and when her mom found out, she got mad. Lucky for me, I can get the same app on the App Store without being asked to set up a Google account (even though I have one :D )

Android works with Google account, Apple works with Apple ID. There's no difference. Both are an email address and a password. You need them to get apps.

This morning, the concrete was being poured for the foundations to the new extension.

At least the concrete will have about 48 hours to cure, ready for the bricklayers to start work on Monday. :)

One thing I've never seen in my city is Mercedes concrete delivery trucks. Is your neighbour building another garage or a house extension?

You know it's a fairly serious project when you see those little cubicles, the blue one by the corner of the house. Ours here are not as pretty; plain unpainted corrugated iron;)
