What's new

The "Anything Goes" thread

I like the way each scientist's name is illustrated with something he found out.

Feynman must have been a great professor.
Do you know Prof. Brian Cox? Even my daughter likes him, and she hates physics and chemistry. (When she was learning for an exam, she built up the theory that light is human. :-) It helped her pass the test.)

No, I haven't heard of him but will google him, I LOVE physics, especially now when the stuffed shirts are beginning to HAVE to accept that physics and sentient beings are truly entwined! Actually I should qualify that to QUANTUM physics. Is there any other kind? :-)

A few. ;-)
Astrophysics, nuclear physics, optical physics, biophysics ... (It's a loooong list.)

We went to an early 4th of July celebration today. It was part "antique car show", tractor show, model airplane flying, eating, etc.

Are they shoveller ducks? The bills look right for the species.

I don't know what kind they are. They were just part of the exhibits, and I thought they were interesting.

My bird for today.

The bird seems to be bemused by your attempts to dress up the seedball.:)
