The "Anything Goes" thread

The Defender case is great. But has anyone that has one found that the outer rubber case picks up all dirt and stray hairs?

Is there an iPadshopoholics anonymous?

There could be with you as it's founding member....just start a thread. Not sure I would post there too often thankfully, my disease is iPaditis....the inability to put the iPad down. 

I have a Griffin leatherette wallet to protect my iPad. I like the pockets in the lid for papers. At first I tried a pouch which I didn't like as it was too tight a squeeze for the iPad.

What are your symptoms?

No need for treatment....there is no cure. A diagnosis with a life-long sentence is all you get with iPF to help feed the habit.

Trust me, I have ipaditus! I also suffer from sore wrists as well. When I first got the iPad, I held it in my left hand and it got so painful that I went online to find that it was the weight of the iPad that was putting a strain on my wrist. I had to learn to prop it up at all times so that my wrist could get better. It took at least two months for the wrist swelling and pain to clear.

So you suffered from the modern version of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (I hope I spelt that correctly)

Yeah, I did. Apparently a lot of people on-line suffered this! The weight is quite a lot for your wrist to carry for long sessions and I do read a lot. For hours at a time sometimes so it was bound to happen. I've never had anything like this before but I knew it had to be the iPad because it was the only thing different in my life. You just have to be aware of this when reading or holding it for continuous amounts of time.

I sympathise. My mum was a sufferer and I think it came about from her typing and reading lots of books.

I tend to rest my iPad on my lap. At this moment I am sitting in front of the PC, balancing the iPad on the rim of the desk. Enjoying the sunlight flooding into my study.

If I have a lot of typing and cutting / pasting blocks of text, I use the Apple iPad keyboard. Which holds the iPad nicely.

So hot here I have been in the pool for the last 2 hours. My black doggy Coco was in there with me for some time whilst the white one Chewy watched from a safe distance (he hates getting wet, gets miserable if his feet get wet, he hated the English weather).
