I've got one too! iPad 2, 64 gb, 3G, in white. So far I'm very pleased with it. My next purchase will be the BT keyboard, as the auto-type thing is very annoying.

Haven't yet managed to activate my simcard, which is à bummer, but I hope to have that sorted soonish...

Am now looking around for 'must have' apps, any recommendations?

Okay, so I'm late to the iPad party

Got my iPad 2 a couple of weeks ago to use a the 'gig'- it's a 16g wf-fi black! Am wondering why I lugged around those charts for so long

Well, when I was a kid(relatively speaking) I used windows mobile, and then migrated to Android and was happy there and still am, but then now that I am having the ipad, things are just showing up very very good around me Its awesome.
I always thought - oh well I dont need that, difficult to carry and all that. But then I am just feeling so sorry I didnt do this sooner. The feeling is too good.

Still thinking if 16GB (usable 13.5GB) is enough but then planning to buy the GoFlex satellite once the firmware is upgraded - right now its a horrible prematurely introduced device.

It's when you use a 3rd party software to allow you to better customize your iPad, access the file system, and install 3rd party apps not available in the apple app store. You can download tweaks that can correct little annoyances you may have with the iPad - such as being able to place an icon wherever you want and not having all the other icons move around to accommodate. The 3rd party apps can be extremely useful - such as the MyWi available for the iPhone. You can tether any device - including your laptop and iPad - to your iPhone without having to pay your cell provider the monthly fee for tethering - very useful, providing you are on one of the unlimited data plans which are no longer available. There's also another tweak which allows you to do things on 3G that you could only previously do with a wifi connection - such as FaceTime. The possibilities are endless, as long as there's a developer out there who created a tweak or app. You can also completely theme your iPad, using animated video wallpapers, custom icons, lock screen sliders, keyboards, etc. You think you enjoy your iPad now, just wait until you JB it! If you're not really tech savvy, the Comex jailbreak is the easiest - you just visit jailbreakme.com on your iPad and go from there. Pretty much no effort required on your part. Just backup your iPad first and you should save your SHSH blobs as well. Jail breaking is completely legal and don't listen to any myths you've heard about possibly bricking your device - it's pretty much impossible to do as you can just restore your device again with iTunes.
