To say hello. 1st post

Hello all, I hope this finds you all well.
I am a fairly new iPad users and am still finding new and amazing stuff every time I use it.
I live in maghaberry in sunny northern Ireland.
I work as a nurse in a children's respite home for kids with a learning disability and associated challenging behaviour.
I would love to hear from anyone with ideas, apps etc to aid communication interaction etc for this client group. Free if possible as funding as always is an issue.

I would also like some advice re: attaching my iPad to my old stereo.

I have read about AirPlay but am interested in all options.
