This week, on the innovative site Kickstarter, a new campaign dedicated to all game lovers out there was launched. Meet the Audojo gaming case for all generations of the iPad (9.7-inch that is), which turns tablets into a large and fun to use game console. The case comes packed with two joysticks, both located on the sides of the screen and two shoulder buttons. The buttons located in the upper right and left hand sides will certainly help lovers of first person shooters enjoy their gaming experience.
The team explains their project:
“Our case is the first iPad case truly built for gamers. Gamers love the possibilities that a touchscreen offers: swipes, multi-touch gestures, contextual buttons and more. But gamers miss joysticks and buttons. We are delivering the best of both worlds in a form factor that combines the best attributes of a physical controller with the endless possibilities of touchscreen controls. “
Users will be able to connect the iPad to the case via the headphone jack. The Audojo has its own built in features and is powered by a set of batteries. So far, the case is supported by two iOS games – 1948: Dawn of Future and Cowboys Guns but more titles are on their way, of course.
The project is looking to make $240,000 in order to move on to the mass production phase, so if you wish to help out, head on to the official site to do so. By donating $55 now you will be securing one of the 200 pieces that come out of production.
