I don't. I always hold it. And its always open because I always use it.

With an iPad....NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Not to check the time you don't. But, to read an email or play a game? Or, better yet, to watch a movie or something? That's going to be rather interesting.....:)

I read messages on my pebble at the time...no squinting. I don't intend to play games on a watch or watch a movie, but you're welcome to those if you like.
 
I don't know about teens, but since my husband was diagnosed with a serious illness, I have been very interested in the iWatch for keeping track of his basic signs. It can't replace a doctor's visit, but it might alert us to any possible changes between visits.
