Hi Friends,

I am from India. Trying to connect the right forum for the problem I am facing to get the justice!!

Joined the forum recently hunting the right place to convey the message.
I am following up of my case for Warranty Problem of iPad 2 which occured with in a week of Warranty Expired as discussed in Apple Discussion Forum. Link for reference:

Post this I visited the service centre where it was told a Hardware problem (but do not know what exactly it is) & needs replacement @ of Rs 19,500/- INR which half of the cost of the device. Itried explaining that I restored it twice & tried for few days where I lost almost 20 to 25 days & you can also refer my Discussion on Apple Forum. But all the words had gone in vain. I also put the request on Facebook Page. Link for reference:

on Facebook Page
But surprisingly when I wrote all this cost & repairs & warranty related in Discussion Forum, immediately it was Removed!!!!! This means Apple responsible read these Forum!! Then why it was not considered when I discussed the topic just 7 days past warranty!!!! Is it because we are in India & Apple doesnot have their own stores? If this the case then it is discremination which I will speak out on as many forum as possible.
Hope atleast this discussion goes to the right persons.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

First of all I will say this is a privately owned Forum which does not have any ties with Apple at all apart from the fact that we all have iPads and share information and help each other here. I'm not even sure if Apple has their own stores in India or if they are Apple resellers but I will say that Apple themselves do honour their warranties and I have heard of others having their iPads replaced free of charge when a problem occurs just out of warranty.

If they are Apple resellers only I would advise you to get in touch with Apple direct and explain your problem to them.

Perhaps we can help you here...could you give us as much info as possible, which iPad you have and what OS it is currently running on. Go to Settings - General - About and look for version. Tell us what has been happening and we will endeavor to help you.

The IPad Forum is a community of members from all walks of life and from all over the world coming together to share our experiences and to help each other learn about this wonderful piece of technology the Ipad. Apple typically deletes complaints (as opposed to questions) and customer service inquiries from their forums. They have other routes for these issues. Right or wrong , they don't want these issues aired and solved (if solvable) in their public forums.

If you want a reply you should try going through their normal support channels.

Apple - Support - Contact Support

I'm not saying you'll get the answer you want, but at lease you'll be talking to the people who are authorized to give you an answer.

As stated we are a private forum . Weare sorry that you have issues with your ipad2 however The problem needs to be discussed with Apple and based on that this thread is closed.
