Unread Email count

I updated my Ipad 4 with the new iOS 7.0.2. Now my email icon says I have 2551 unread emails. When I open my email there is no emails at all, much less 2551 unread ones. I have turned it off and back on several times. My email server, Comcast, does not show any unread emails.
This just showed up since I updated to 7.0.2
Anyone else have this happening and how do I get read of this?

OK for anyone else that might have this problem. I deleted the email account and then added it back.
That cleared it!
