Just out of curiosity, which antivirus software do you use David? And have you tried turning it off for the duration of jail breaking?

Um norton, havent tried that, I have heard that norton can cause issues.

I keep experiencing what some are with the force close during the loading. I am running it in xp mode service pack 2 as I don't have a option for service pack 3. I am also running it in administrator privileges and still the force close. I am running windows vista. Is there anyone else having these issues with the same os.

I had those exact issues. I just threw in a spare HD to load XP SP3.

Yes, I was this thing jailbroken that badly

EDIT-Fresh XPSP3 load, fresh itunes...perfect. I wiped my data (safe side...it's got like nothing on it anyway), and I'm all good.
