Video playback in Apps

My video playback has no volume when used in many of apps such as Twitter , YouTube alternatives , etc.... It works otherwise. There has to be a solution. I have tried rebooting and such. Can anyone help ? Or has anyone had this problem with the iPad 2 ?

Just as a quick suggestion, check to make sure that your side switch is not set to mute (if that is how the switch is chosen in general settings) -

It's turned up and the audio works for everything else. Only doesn't work when playing Video through an App like Twitter , etc.... Weird.
