Want to sign up others thant i would like to message on my iPad

how to send message to others u want to message to register so u can message them from my iPad .????? Do I have to send them an email or phone call me when u can to sigh up sin ce I can not message them to sign up . ........?.

Hi, welcome to iPF!

The "Messages" app that came with your iPad can only be used between Apple devices. You can't send messages to or receive messages from other devices with it.

On your iPad, you usually set it up with your email address. If the persons you want to send messages to also owns an Apple device, they should be able to contact you by writing your email address in "To:" You can send messages yourself. Open the app, tap 1, then write an email address (2) and a subject (3), then your message (4).

Is it the Messages app on the iPad which you are speaking about? If it is then follow what JA has posted.
There is another new app called MessageMe which works for apple devices and android. When you set it up it has a step where you can send messages to all your friends also to get this app. Hope this helps.
