I once saw a photo of Niagara falls frozen solid, have you ever seen that?

I've seen the same photograph scifan, I think it was shot in the early 1900's. They look amazing when the air temp is below freezing. The spray that the falls create is incredible which lands on everything and freezes, (roads included), so all around the falls looks like a winter wonderland. I feel a Googly session coming up. ;)

It was 63 today, we raced race-carts on a real track and had a small sprinkle. Right now it is 55 and will drop into the high 30's tonight. Couldn't take my iPad with me or I would have pictures

Alberta and BC had snowfall warnings today. 10-15 centimeters of snow are expected in the Peace River region of BC, and across most of central Alberta. Temperature in Dawson Creek this morning was -15 with a windchill of -22. I was working outside. It felt colder than that.

I'm heading for the Pacific coast now. It's a positively tropical -4 out there, with only freezing rain to contend with.

Brrr. Feels cold to me. It's a tropical 0°C here. Still feels cold. I'm a southern warm chick in my heart. Not sure i could take those freezing temperatures. Last time I tried to ride when it was -2°C, my fingers froze and I had to go back inside to defrost. That was very painful.

Try riding a bicycle at -30°C! I did it for years to get to work.

Yes I do. I got tired of jumping off the bike whenever it wiped out.

Is your store the one on the TransCanada close to the Husky truckstop? You're braver than me if you'd ride a bicycle down that road.

No, it's the one at the north end of town, at Pasqua and Rochdale.
