That really looks like a nice spot to walk about, Richard. My front lawn is all brown, dying and crunchy when you walk on it from these days of heat. Just to walk on some lovely green grass. Yess!

Yes, it's great. The open area is called Queen's Mead. I believe it was named after Queen Victoria. It consists of 6 or so football pitches and is well used at the weekends.

I am posting my walk pictures under anything goes because of the numerous green spaces I visited :)

It was a beautiful spring day again, in January. 1.2°C right now and heading for low teens by Saturday. Snow is almost gone. Thank you Southern USA.

31°c here right now.....but it's so humid, it feels so much hotter than that.

I need to find a fridge I can put myself into! ;)

Burn is right and we are slathering on the sunscreen......there are some very red people around now..it's painful just looking at them.

Surfers Paradise is really the top tourist area on the Gold Coast here and there are many tourists from overseas here now who have no idea they will burn and burn very quickly. They are going to be mighty sore! ;)

Have your summers always been this severe?

I just checked my super iPad World Clock to see Australian time. Early afternoon on Friday?. I know exactly what 31°C and high humidity feels like as that is normal for July here. Does Australia not use humidex or 'feels like' values? Here that would be 40° or so. I have just emailed some snow to you.

:D

Yes it's 12.37 pm right now Friday.......

No we don't have a humidex value here, unless its just me who has never heard of it but we do get humidity readings.

Thank you for the snow, but it seems to have melted on the way......maybe a truckload through Dropbox will do the trick ;)

Took the family away for the weekend.

Beautiful weather, beautiful day

This Friday's weather pics. It's getting cooler now. The Siberian conditions are starting to kick in, albeit gently.
