HERE WE SNOW AGAIN ! A snow squall warning for the Niagara Peninsular has been issued with whiteout conditions, blowing snow, and up to 12" expected per hour in squalls. Very windy and -5°C. No problem...it's Groundhog Day and the little critter didn't see his shadow so it will be an early spring........ 8)

Oh Man! It's just hard to imagine what that must be like, (says he, as he mowed the lawn on a pleasant 26c today, with a warmer 28 expected tomorrow. What fascinates me is how people just naturally seem to acclimatise to their conditions and take it in their stride. If I were there, I can see myself hunkering down beside a cosy fire with my iPad in my lap.....! We get miserable heat waves here in South Australia this time of year, Roy. Take your pick!

My pick would be here Andrew because we get our own heat waves in summer. We are surrounded by the Great Lakes so it is often super humid with the heat as well. I really enjoy the extremes. Some parts of Canada just have two seasons, winter and mosquito season. :D

It's quite cold, although the temperature is supposed to be 5°C! The wind adds some chill. I went for a walk which was bracing :)
