I bet baby palm palm just loved all the rain! My weeds have never had it so good right now!!

...oh...and you know this humidity...does nothing for styling our hair no matter what kind of hairspray you use! Geez!!

So my evening out at Bar Louie had to be brought inside--the storms were something fierce!

The forecast was off a bit. At noon it was 46° C (i am /was stuck in traffic). Hit major traffic going home, took 45 minutes to go 2 miles from an accident, bad day for that.

Today was great day. All the weather men said that this whole weekend would be a wash with all the predicted rain we were suppose to get. While at times it did look like it was going to rain, it never did. It was a lovely sunny day with a gentle cool breeze every once in a while. I got so much down outside that I've neglected the past few weeks, I am grateful that the Weather reporters were wrong on their forecast!

We have been invited over to join friends for lunch. It's a perfect day

At 11:15 AM it is already 41° C, tons of sun and a mild breeze

Edit: At 1:15 this afternoon we are at 44° C. A little cooler than yesterday...
