Waxed canvas and wrought iron. I bought a more expensive one so I could use it all summer instead of those cheap ones you see.

It was similar to this.

I'm just glad you are all ok over there. A messy yard or broken gazebo are easily taken care of no matter how frustrating and bothersome they might be.

Edit: I am not making light of the damage, just glad there were no injuries or worse.

Of course you are right! I think 3 people have died and that all were caused by trees falling. Not sure whether the 14 year old was discovered in the sea yet. Sad for the parents though. Kids just don't realise how dangerous stormy seas can be. He was swept out to sea before the main storm surge.

It's very sad the people lost in that wind storm.I know your relief that it'a over
today will fair sunny but right now it is cold..-2C.

The rain will stop in the afternoon, it will stay cloudy. The temperature won't rise above 12° C.

I stopped on the way to work to take a picture of the thermal vent steam clouds. The clear skies are making for a beautiful day.
To the left side of the picture is the volcano, Mt. Konocti.

Beautiful, sure isn't the southern end of the state.

Today it's stormy (50 km/h) and cloudy. We had rain in the morning. Temperature: 6° C. One of our "standard" autumn days. It would be a ordinary November day with fog, no storm but a light breeze.

Well, weather reports are getting excited lately. Reports of snow lower than Scotland. Hmmmm? Maybe. I'll believe it when it comes down!

We had our first Snow Fall this past Monday. Fortunately, I had my ice scraper in my car when I left work at 7:30 pm. It was part snow and ice. We had about 2 inches, whereas, some parts received about 3-6 inches.

I took out my full length feather jacket the other day. It dipped below 16 degrees that night and into the morning. Its also been quite windy too!
