I threw a couple into the street. The cheeky blighters had climbed up 5'0" or so behind our clematis. I wa pretty annoyed!

Had the local village children come and collect our tiny snails.had a competition and a prizes for all
Collected hundreds of the blighters.
Gave them a salt water bath .
No survivors
 
I come from South Africa and believe me those snails are gigantic compared to little 'ol UK ones. A bit like prawns, lobsters etc... No comparison

Don't tell the French! 

At winter's end (hard to know when that is these years ) I have lifted large stones in the rockery or next to the garden wall to uncover and deal with colonies of the blighters.

The snow this winter seemed to kill a lot of them this time and only when we got all this rain did I see more of them!

Come and live in Scotland; it's too cold for them to survive here...

Yesterday afternoon the weather was lovely here but it's back to the normal grey and overcast today....
