What's new

What are you guys doing right NOW??? ;)

Listening to DR Klassisk (Danish radio) and thinking about which cake to bake. Wondering if my Mum's ancient, battered old cookbooks will hold out much longer. I should transcribe them all... And convert all her measurements from the Danish ones she used which still tend to throw me. An app for recipes? It will probably use US cups, which are just as much of a mystery.
Sigh...life is so--worrying.

Yummy...let us know what you decide on to bake!

Thought you were due to work out with some nice music?
The rule is :
Run first, cake after.

:-)

LOL...Awww, I see that you have visited me in the Health Forum recently! Yes...I have not done my daily run/walk today...my morning started early today...so will need to catch up when the sun goes down and it's cooler out! :)

So maybe I can have the cake after my run!

I'll consider that.

Well when you have some, we have a Food Anyone? Thread for members who love their food. Any new recipes are welcomed.

Sent from my fantastically, wonderful iPhone using iPF

i do like baking...so OK, I'll shift over to that thread. But first Skimonkey will be expecting something nice here when she gets back from running, so I'd better have something ready for her ...

Sweet isn't exactly the word I would use...
And it sounds like I've picked up a crumb-stalker!! I already have one of those, always getting underfoot to Hoover bits up. He may not like being usurped...

Have had to change plans because have run out of ground almonds (for the chosen flour-free almond cake I had in mind.) Might make a choc. blancmange ring instead as it's getting a bit late. Will that be acceptable for you? It's very very very very very chocolatey!!

He's a Border Terrier called "Herbie" ( as in herbaceous border...get it?) and he says thank you for your compliment as he doesn't get many of those at home. He admits to being a very nervy hyper- active ball-fetishist, always on the go & skinny (you would approve of his exercise routine!), the complete opposite of his B.T mate Scrubbs who sleeps his life away. Strange, the opposite on the metabolism scale, very solid but not fat & in good health, the vet agrees. And he can't stand ball-play!

Can't get photo to upload. Will try later.

Glad you are enjoying this rubbish!
There are two more K9s lying around somewhere to describe later if you want more drivel!
Must go & blancmange-stir.
