Well we are getting closer...better head over there soon and be part of the party! Remember when we reached our 200k here?? How exciting for us!!

You got that right. I still have the screenshot somewhere, and it won't be long before we hit 250,000. The numbers are climbing rapidly.

Thanks Kay. I have to think of 1990 and then work from there. As long as its more than the kids ages (1994/1998) I'm good. The older you get, the more you forget. Totally agree. Hubby has better memory than I. I can never remember our song.

It's reassuring to hear you do math, too. I forget how old I am as well. I don't mind telling; I just can't remember and have to think about it. It's easier for me to tell people my year of birth. I can at least remember that -- for now!

Saying goodbye to hubby as he goes off to a wet and windy farmers market. It's my 22nd wedding anniversary today. Congratulations to us.

Thanks, Gabe! While it was 94F the breeze made it very nice out!

I watch the occasional baseball game on the sports channels over here.....I guess it's as alien to us as cricket is to you.....but enjoyable all the same.

Yes, I echo Gabriel. Your photos across the Baseball arena are great. They bring some of the atmosphere to life.

Nice post Skimonkey.

If you ever get the chance in the U.S., I recommend going just for the experience. I don't follow baseball or basketball at all, but it's fun going now and again even for the atmosphere. My companies have offered sports tickets among perks over the years, and it's always been fun when I've gone. The stands are more fun than the luxury boxes, I've found. More of the crowd atmosphere. It's much diff from watching on TV.

It is hard to follow baseball sometimes. It can be very long between innings. Never watched a cricket match...but would like to! Love watching sports!

Thanks, Richard!! We really had a wonderful time and the evening was so pleasant considering the heat!

Great photos Ski.....have never watched a game.

We had an US team here a couple of years ago for a promotional visit, can't remember their name, but we were having lunch where they were training. A ball came
whizzing at me, I moved, it deflected off my shoulder and straight into a woman's back. Poor thing but they let her keep the ball and lunch was on the house!
