I'm surprised I managed to get it done this far , the fireplace I found for free from a recycling site , & luckily it matches the colour scheme well .

Surprised my partner when she returned home from hospital after 3 1/2 weeks by decorating our lounge Please with the results so far , although she returned early and caught me by surprise ... ! A few details to finish off , lighting , new fire , door handles might help Not bad for 2 days work though . Ceiling , walls re painted 3 coats , new gloss and new floor and a nice free fireplace <img src="http://www.ipadforums.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=53172"/>

Two days only to get all this done!? I guess you worked day and night.

Right now, browsing ipf and ipad after spending the whole afternoon atop a roof relaying a roof in the freezing cold wind and hailstones :-( .
It wasn't one of the best places I would have chosen to spend my afternoon but a friend needed our help after her roof was torn off in the rather ferocious winds we've been experiencing lately and as friends do , we all help out where we can and I guess being a roofer helps the cause
Glad to be home in the warmth and relaxing on a comfy sofa in dry clothes .
