Just booked my airline ticket, hotel reservation, and bought travel insurance for my trip to London, England in August. All done on the iPad.

I'm certainly looking forward to the trip. I'll be attending the World Science Fiction Convention, where the Hugo Awards are presented. Authors and fans from around the world will be in attendance. The convention is in a different city every year. I was in Scotland for the convention in 2005, but this will be my first trip to London.

There will certainly be lots of pictures for everybody to enjoy. I'll be starting a thread in the Travel Forum about my trip.

Almost three weeks in London! You know that I envy you right now? It's such a beautiful city, from the small glimpses we caught last year, when my daughter and I visited it for a few days! Additionally to Loncon, you'll certainly have a great time there.

I think we had one of these conventions on the Gold Coast recently (around Easter). I remember seeing the signage at the Convention Centre, just can't remember what it was called.
