I'm assuming the big brown spider that I killed on top of my hand is what left the stinging red bite mark. If I'm not around tomorrow then you know I died from it

Well, I'm not sure how big a brown recluse is, but I would be taking that one to a hospital. And just for a change I AM being serious. The bite of the brown recluse is potentially fatal.

Depends on the spider. In relatively rare instances, some spider bites can leave holes in flesh, requiring surgical draining. I was once regaled with a particularly gruesome account by a friend who was bitten.
