Good morning to all
I just finished up most of James Rollins' collection. What a writer and researcher! All of his books demonstrated, beside of his writing skill, the knowledge of science and myth. Often, I stopped reading and checked out Wikipedia and Google for a better understanding and enjoyment. In some cases, when the plots were so intense, I forwarded thru the end to ensure that the good guys were ok, then resumed (don't laugh, as he is that good
). What an impact that he has made ! It took me a few days before I could start to look for something else to read. For the moment, Clifford Irving's Trial is quite good. I always like Legal Thriller. He did quite well in this one. Next would be John Grisham's latest novel, Gray Mountain.
So, I really appreciate the tips from Mickey330 about Archer Mayor's and from Bennettb about Martha Grimes' works. I certainly would check them out soon.
Hi Squib, glad to see that you like Michael Connelly's The Scarecrow. If you haven't, check out his other collections. Harry Bosch and Mickey Haller series. They are all good. Of course, James Patterson's Women's Murder Club series are outstanding.
Happy reading, everyone, and share your thoughts
