What's new

What do you think you'll use your iPad for?

Is it really possible for the i pad to replace laptop ?

blal,

I'm certainly hoping so. In our household, we've foresaken PCs and use only iThings...iPads and iPhones. I write, read, watch movies, listen to music on my iPad. So far, it's worked well. My hope is that as iOS updates & improves, that the content creation aspect of using an iPad will increase as well.

For therapy........

Let's explain ... ;) ....

There was a news story about a traumatised hen which stopped laying eggs after a fox ate her companion. The hen's owner played her videos of chickens on his iPad. As a result the hen is laying eggs again.

This reminds me of the TV iPad 3 advert where a pet chicken was reassured when it's owner showed it a picture of eggs. The brooch cki ken settled down on the iPad! :)

I initially bought it because I thought it would be cool for my new sales job to do presentation. Now, I use it to watch Netflix, check e-mail, and look up stuffs in the kitchen. It is cool if you want to show someone something quick in the kitchen without having to boot up the computer.

Ipad's use probably varies according to users. As for me, it's quite handy for my presentations, to check my emails and communicate with my colleagues, and to read ebooks as well.

I initially wanted to just do my music work on my iPad, but it turns out that I use it for much more than that! Read books, check mails, take down notes, etc. Loving it!

I like to use my iPad for gaming, watching movies, surfing on internet and reading eBooks. Also its very good to use as my mini notebook.

I use my iPad to view movies and read iBooks and play games. The only thing that cause me to leave the iPad and use a PC is the basic mail program. I receive many mails in which I must reply to the sender with an attachment like Excel, PDF or Word file, but the basic email doesn't allow me do that.
