What's new

What do you think you'll use your iPad for?

Generally i use my iPad 3 for gaming purpose. I play Asphalt 7, Frontline Commando and Sonic Dash mostly everyday. I also surf humurous videos and trailers on youtube. Every night i don't go to sleep without watching a movie on it.

I have seen a number if lists, but whatever you think is likely to change as time goes by. In my case it certainly did and the more time i spend reading in the forum, the more ideas I get to experiment with.

When I first got my iPad mini, I put it in my backpack and walked to the library. I didn't have broadband at the time. Now that I do have broad band and my wifi going, I use it to read tutorials of how to do things while I actually do the things on my desktop computer. I have a poor memory and using it this way helps me a lot. As I still like to do complex things, that I wouldn't other wise be able to do.

Welcome to the forum, imini.

I do like your use for the iPad. It's a way I use it from time to time.

Do search around the forum. There were some other posts about useful apps etc which enhance the great experience in using this super piece of kit. :)

Just bought my iPad 4 last week and I can already see that I'll be using it for books and movies. iTunes seems to have the largest selection of closed caption movies so ill be renting from iTunes quite a bit. I hadn't really paid much attention to retina displays, but this thing is beautiful.

Do you prefer it to the mini?

My lovely girlfriend bought me an iPad Mini for my birthday. So far I've been doing everything on it. I will most likely be using it for social networking and e-reading. I love this little thing!

That's a great gift! In 1974 I got my girlfriend, now my wife, a 'Smith - Corona' electric typewriter for her birthday. She needed in for university. It cost about the same as an iPad mini but did way less.

Enjoy your present.
