This thread is amazing. I'm so glad we have it. Love all the pics and wish I could visit EVERYONE.

I so agree with you Czevski! It's so exotic, strange & interesting seeing some of the creatures people get visiting. And educational too.

(I long owe you a message, so sorry for long delay. Been a bit distracted:-( Coming up!)

Thanks Guys! Had no idea it would take off like this, but it goes to show you how much all of us love the outdoors and it's beauty! We are really fortunate to have such an international showing here on this Forum which makes it even more fun and interesting!

Czevski--beautiful birds...are those birds part of the Finch Family? Their beak has that short beak characteristic I see with the finches we see here.

Currently, I have my eyes on a beautiful Monarch Butterfly which likes my Echinacea. I would love to take a pic of it, but it doesn't stay long. Monarch sighting are very rare for me to see here. Not sure if you are seeing any in Wisconsin, Czevski. :)

The birds are chipping sparrow, house finch, and brown thrasher. I just happened to catch them together. It does surprise me how often the different birds will seem to be sharing or waiting for one to finish.

We have one hummingbird that is the dominant one in the bunch. I think he has taken ownership of one of our feeders and chases after others that try to feed on it. This one is not a sharing type at all.

We also have another hummingbird feeder which is made of glass and is oblong. It hasn't attracted any birds yet at all. Not sure why?
