What I see in my backyard...

Ok, are you going to take them to the humane society when you catch them?

I'm not sure how the program works, they may even pick up the cat. I'll have to ask when I call.

The cardinal photo is of one of the young ones. Here's a fuzzy phot of papa, momma, one of the youngsters.

Now for a photo of the short tailed squirrel. It doesn't seem to bother him.

We have active cardinals in our burning bush at the end our drive. Seems late in the season for them to have babies, but maybe not for their species. Great pics of the fluffy birds!

A short tailed squirrel by accident? Didn't know of such, otherwise!! He certainly looks busy hungry!! :)

Taken Late Last night., 1st attempt at night photography....nearly fell over them in the dark...

That is just amazing that they are just roaming out in your backyard!! Do they mind you approaching them? They don't seem bothered at all by your presence.

Tonight, shortly after sunset I was returning to the garage from taking out the trash, when I noticed a shovel lying on our mulch pile. The "shovel" then began moving. Not sure what kinds of snake it was, as he went one way and I went the other. We have very few snakes here, so it's startling when you see one.

I think I would have ran if I saw a shovel move!! Wouldn't dare try to pick it up that's for sure!!

My photos of the moon last night

Love all the moon shots, Clermont and Czevski!! Very dramatic!!

A stray cat that wandered through my yard.

You have the most tame creatures come around your backyard, Sci...you sure you aren't feeding them any? :)

I don't feed them anything. The neighbors must though,as many of the squirrels show up with peanuts in their mouths. I often see them burying the peanuts.

That is too funny, Sci---I see you have proof of those squirrels holding peanuts in their mouth! Whatever happen to that kitten?

My neighbour is the "squirrel whisperer."
Opens her patio door and lets them into her house. They bury their peanuts in my yard.

But the year the ground is so hard because of drought, they're getting resourceful. I have a aluminium pole clothesline contraption in the backyard and the open end pipes are stuffed with peanuts!

Those squirrels are really resourceful, AA!

Squirrels love to dig up my tulip bulbs if I don't pull them at the end of Fall. Every so often, I will see their cheeks packed to the max with all it!

It wanders all over the neighborhood and has no collar or licence. I have no idea who it belongs to.
