All we've got around here is squirrels...
There was a squirrel in the garden one day, theres a wood about a quarter of a mile away,i can only think it came from there,we have resident hedgehogs,i posted one them a while back.

This is beautiful!

Love frogs...haven't had an opportunity to take a picture of them. We did have a toad house...I should check to see if he's still there!

Towards the end of our family get together, I heard a scream from the direction of our deck, followed by the baby crying.

I rushed out to see my wife holding her feet clear of the floor and our 8 year old great niece shrieking in delight.

"There's a mouse! It came out from behind that plant..!". I had a job containing myself! :)

Sure enough, after we were all inside, and calmer, the little chap appeared, Scurrying about clearing up bits of food dropped on the deck.

My comment that he has his uses wasn't appreciated in some quarters. ;)

Great photos clermont. I never knew they could become that tame.

A crow squeaked his approval - loudly - as I was typing this :)

Great photos Clermont!

I love kookaburras and didn't even realise we had any nearby until we put in a fish pond......

The results were that half our fish were gone the next day.....kinda expensive feeding them!!

Thank you, Richard...also love your furry guest appearance that came for a visit!! That is too funny! They are cute though, aren't they! I am a bit partial to mice, if you can tell! :)

Those pics of the kookaburras are beautiful, Clermont!! Love the black and white markings they have!! Their beaks are very long to spear things!

Oh...that's too bad that they devoured your fish, Leelai! That is very expensive to feed them like that!!

Beautiful afternoon in my backyard. The temperature is just right, the birds are chirping...
Very serene. :)
