leelai: you mean the ones I've circled here? I don't quite remember the name of them...

skimonkey: I mainly maintain it, I get a few helping hands occasionally... Beautiful picture of the bird. I wish I has the same photography skills.

nice use of Skitch there too!

Thanks! I love using Skitch, especially for guides and tutorials, which you can find in various threads.

Love your photos Goofy...what are those flowers in the first photo? There's so many of them on such a low plant....very nice

Skimonkey.....your photo of that gorgeous bird looks very professional....you certainly have a talent there!

Thank you, Leelai. I have to really give credit to how awesome this camera is for all the wonderful pics...and of course the cooperation from my creatures being photographed! I really love this pic also and my frame this one up and bring to the office.

I am... Enjoying. The composition is great to boot, Skimonkey :)

Thank you, Richard. Reading some of your posts has given me inspiration to do the same here! :)

Here's an example of my not-so-great photography: a photo I took this summer on vacation with my iPad 3:

However, in summer 2011, I went to Yosemite and took this photo, which I think came out pretty well, if I do say so myself (it has been edited using iPhoto for iPad to bring out the color in the sky, mountain, and greenery)

skimonkey: Great photo! It is now my desktop wallpaper!

Wish I could take pics like that!!!

I put the iPF app in there, which I only use when I'm attaching photos. All other times, I use the website. That's notifications from the "subscribed" section of the app because I check for new posts via email and iPF.net, not the app.
Also, if you look closely, you can see that I have 100 notifications on the Sticky Notes app. :)
Back on topic!

Wow, the year has gone by fast. Soon, the winter and its the holidays will be upon us, and then the new year (and lots of new technology).

Hey Goofy, just beautiful pictures of your friends backyard creatures. Love your picture of Yosemite! You certainly have an eye for such a beautiful scenic pic. Just love the outdoors and the mountains. That's one thing in Michigan we don't have, but wished we did!

And hey, loving your wallpaper! The yellow finch looks beautiful on your iPad! :) I am flattered that you are using it!

They're hydrangeas. Wikipedia link for extra info: Hydrangea - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Love hydrangeas, my neighbour has them also, I've never seen them that low before though....very pretty!

Also think your photos are very nice, especially Yosemite, loved that area and there is just so much to see there, wished we could have stayed much longer in that particular place...

In a few months, this is what I'll see again from my back door.
