Yes, they are nice shots of your back yard inhabitants. The brown thrasher has the same colours and markings as the UK thrush. The head and beak are different to the thrush.

Yes, there was a race on today, apparently from about 08.30 , but after a rather late night spent on forums I didn't get to see much of a morning,

I found this Great Egret roaming the backyard this morning and Aflac and Domino two ducks that hang out together all the time on the pond in my backyard.

Here is what I see out my window. The sun came out briefly, but mostly rainy day. The water is way low and way out. Lots of beach we have!
