Do you shovel it all by hand, or do you have a snowblower to help? A large driveway would certainly give you your daily exercise quota.

Gosh! That's very thick.....do you just make big piles of it somewhere?

Looks like a lot of work! :(

That's not very much compared to some locations in the United States where the annual snowfall exceeds 17 meters.

What on earth do you do with it all? I'm picturing footpaths piled up high and mountains of snow everywhere.

For many years I drove the Michigan peninsula from Sault Ste. Marie to Port Huron. I encountered some pretty serious snow given that the upper peninsula is sandwiched between Lake
Michigan and Lake Huron.

On this day we did both. We had to shovel the top layer because it was too high for our little snow blower to handle. So extra, double work for sure! Now we are goon to get rain which is suppose to turn to ice!

This is one of our moderate snow falls, but we have had worse. The snow becomes huge piles on either side of our driveway at times. Sometimes as tall if not taller then me! So Leelai - there will be plenty of snow for you when you transport down here to make your snowman!

Yes-we don't get as much as the eastern states of the US, but Michigan gets its fair share.

As admiral said, our upper peninsula gets clobbered with snow up there! Tons of it!

Sorry-I didn't see the other responses when I posted earlier! :)
