The score/soundtrack album for "Elite Syncopations," a ballet production of the Royal Ballet (UK) using ragtime selections mainly from Scott Joplin.

BTW, I've seen a Blu-Ray of the ballet, and it's really fun. Even if you don't like ballet. The costumes are amazingly cool, and the dancing is full of sly humor. Or maybe humour.

'The Gathering' - by Delain.

Charlotte Wessels fronts Netherlands based Delain. Her incredible voice range knocks you out.

Last month Delain released a new album titled 'Interlude'. The disc is a compilation of new work, concert performances, new arrangements of old material and some covers.

The album is available in iTunes.

Someone remarked a while back that talent contests with kids in them tend to concentrate more on how cute the kid is that on any talent they may have. I tend to agree, so it's a real pleasure to find a child like this one. She has REAL talent. If you close your eyes, I don't believe it's possible to guess her age. I think she's about 10. For my money, she sings Pie Jesu a bit too fast, but she is still magnificent.

What a memory, I saw them live in the UK, back in 1981 I believe, they were touring promoting the Marauder album.......they were just sooooooo good, I've gotta go get me that album again, this time on iTunes (hopefully it's on there!)!

I'm sure there was a track that had the lyric "down south, south of Dakota" but I can't exactly remember!! Rickey Medlocke, you are a superstar!

EDIT: Trust me to get the lyric wrong ("south of the border"), but the track is Too Hard To Handle
