What's new

What music are you listening to right now!?!?

It was a great night, wasn't it? Couldn't decide between 4 or 5 of them but I would have had the ventiloquist Steven put through myself. Too many singers and kids! Are you of the opinion that the kids get through just because they are cute?

Yes, I do agree with you about the kids. Brucie (Bruce Forsyth) is right to criticise. I agree that there should be a kids talent show. I suppose putting them through the holiday camp circuit as an apprenticeship would take too long in this day and age.

We are also getting bored with the dance troupes. It's so samey!

I can well guess why you are listening to those tracks, Zstairlessone I would have thought this one by Coldplay sheds a drop of hope...

Everybody's free to wear sunscreen by Baz Luhrman.

The lyrics are worth listening to with wisdom and humour.

EDIT. yes I've turned the radio up to listen properly..

Have you heard Tomita's version on Moog Synthesiser? It's very cleverly done.

Yes indeed, I got the LP when it first came out and still play it regularly. Musically it's a bit of a hodge-podge, but the phase effects are amusing--in Mercury, there's a beep-beep sound that circles clockwise around behind you, then moves back and forth a few times before continuing back toward the speakers. I admire Tomita for pushing the envelope. I was a big Moog fan at the time; I'm the only guy I know with a copy of Wendy Carlos' Sonic Seasonings.
