What music are you listening to right now!?!?

Una Rumba Por Aqui - Gypsy Kings on the 'Compas'album. Actually I am listening to the whole album while IPFing.

Now, that's an album I wasn't aware of. We love the Gypsy Kings. Do t you think they bring their music to life, with great interpretive passion? Kevin would probably enjoy that aspect :)

I'll have to check it out. For some reason, the Gipsy Kings have flown under my radar. I don't recall hearing any of their music. Probably one of those bands you know, without realizing you do.

I'm listening to Vox Angeli right now, since it's gone midnight and I need something a bit more peaceful that my usual rock and orchestral stuff.

When I started composing this post, I was listening to "Si seulement je pouvais lui manquer" or "If only I could miss him", originally recorded by Calogero which, if my French is up to par, is about a child's longing for an absent father.

Although disbanded now, Vox Angeli enjoyed some success in France, covering versions of well-known songs by other French and international artists.

L'oiseau is playing now. Originally recorded by René Simard, when he was about 10 years old, it was used as the theme song for the TV series Belle et Sébastien which was screened on British television more years ago than I care to count.

Have you seen this.......

I've never bothered to see the show in the West End but this performance on Blu-Ray just blew me away!

The Archangel

Next time I intend to purchase something like this, I'll ask you. (Just to warn you.:-))
I'm watching this performance right now with both my children, and even my son, who didn't like the musical first, is sitting here and watching with my daughter and me. :-)

You might want a box of tissues nearby, just sayin'!

I like that one, too. And "Father and Son" with Yusuf Islam.

I like Father and son too. We have a few of his albums! Michael Buble's Home is also my favourite too. I have a few of his too. I can't believe it's June already, can you?

Don't remind me! I still have May. :-) How time flies!

Bublé is great. I love his version of "Save the last dance for me". And "Home" is good as well.
