What's new

What music are you listening to right now!?!?

Equinox by Bodhi Tree.

This was a three piece that used to hang out in South Lake Tahoe, California a few years ago, playing a couple nights a week in McP's Irish Pub. They released a self titled CD, which I bought. One or two of their songs are available on YouTube.

Some of the more interesting aspects of the band were the use of didgeridoo and the ability of one of the members to play two saxophones simultaneously.

Good times.

Abba are one of those groups that have become serious classics. Some of their music is very easy to listen to, years after the fact.

Presently listening to Enya - Na Laetha Geal M'Oige from Watermark.

Maybe. The ones I prefer now are those that I didn't even know when I was young, like "Slipping through my fingers" or "When all is said and done".

This is what I'm listening to right now:

I love Binary Sunset!
Which one?
There are two versions on my CD, a short one:
and the alternate (long - 17 minutes) version:
(I couldn't hear anything on my iPad, hopefully it'll work here)

The music of nature's morning song. Birds singing, brooks bubbling, loons flying over and a song bird that starts at dawn and keeps on singing until dusk. Amazing medley.

:) Peace begins with a smile :)
- Mother Teresa.

Couldn't hear the alternate version myself and I'm running it on a laptop so it's not just you(and the comment over at youtube confirms that the uploader didn't add sound). But the original has always been my fav which shows you just how good John Williams is. I consider him the greatest modern composer of all time!

Xavier Naidoo - Bitte hör nicht auf zu träumen

He's singing in German. - German German :-) The Austrian German sounds a bit different.
Translation of the song title: Please don't stop dreaming

Was just testing out my new subwoofer with Rammstein: Engel

Now switched to Rush: Clockwork Angels on BluRay

The sound track to Sound City. Fell in love with the movie at a movie festival last weekend in Mendocino. My wife insisted on buying the vinyl LP. I guess that makes it an analog to analog recording. Just like the old days. *o*
