Looks like we are making a bit of a noise in iPF.

Can you provide a link to this thread?

Yes, Scifan, that is correct, it is only seen by admins and the moderator staff.

Everyone can see this I'm sure, I remember other members saying it, that so many have viewed but no one answered them. Have a look on the site to see it, I can see it now but Sci can you check? Go into a forum and you will see in each thread next to the topic on the right, Replies and Views. Also when you have a thread open, look down the bottom and you can see how many actually viewing now in Thread Information.

I jus took a look without being signed in. The view count is visible.

Yes,I can see the number currently viewing a thread, but my original question was about the total views a thread has had since it started, that's the number that's only viewable by moderators and administrators.

No. See my screen shot. Post count is available, and I wasn't signed in.

I saw the screen shot and tried it myself,it worked, thanks for the tip.It works whether or not I'm logged in.

NP. You see what I mean about the response rate then? Of course, part of that is that someone has to be a logged in member to see the pictures. Visitors can't see them, and most of the other highly used threads are useful to visitors as they can just take what they want and go, without ever acknowledging their visit.

Yes,I see what you mean about the response rate showing how popular where in the world really is.

Julie's shipping thread just reminded me of this. I used to listen to BBC Radio 4 while driving around Europe, and this piece of music was played every night ahead of the shipping forecast.

Brings back memories.

After I posted, I thought back of the big iOS 5 update last October. I remember seeing the number of views for a question I posted which was well over 16k and that was when I was a member only. Thanks, leelai for seeing that!

Yeah-it took 2 attempts and about 2 hours to get it to go. Fortunately my ipad was fairly new and didn't take so long like some.
