Fleur, I'm not smart. I'm a repository of disjointed facts. I soak up trivia like a sponge, have an almost photographic memory, and I drive a truck. I epitomize wasted opportunity. Now THAT is not smart. You, on the other hand? I would kill to be able to produce the kind of work you showed us a few days ago.

So far as this game is concerned, I've been playing it for a while now, and have googled hundreds of places. It's no wonder some of us have become pretty good at searching. I want to see the game progress to the point where I have trouble being able to join in.
 
I think both of you are smart and have your own very unique talents...and that my friends is just great!

For your information,earlier this morning,Where in the world? Passed Anything goes to move into 4th place in the hot threads list.It was Julie's post at 5:23am Saskatchewan time that put the thread in 4th place.

Not sure where we are right now with Richard's challenge. I've been scouring the map and the history books but can't find what he might be looking for. Might have to break down and ask for a clue.
 
Here's a tip that's helpful to all members participating in the challenge.always carefully look at any provided photos for clues that may help solve the challenge.Here's the clue that enabled me to solve the latest challenge.

image-4181820318.webpThis is a blowup of part of a provided photo.Notice the letters LLCR?I googled those letters and got the answer,the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway.The number 1888 is the year that the company was established by act of Parliament.
