Will Holux M1000 Bluetooth GPS receiver work with ipad2 wifi

I was wondering if anyone is using the Holux M1000 Bluetooth GPS Receiver with their ipad 2 wi-fi only to run a navigation app. I would like to be able to link this to my ipad2 and then use it in my car for my nav unit. Or are there other units that will work better? And does a certain app need to be used with this receiver?
