Oh found a face book page on this missions which says

To complete the event, you should:
- complete UFO collection 5 times;
- complete 'Some Like It Hot' collection 4 times;
- complete 'The Truth Is Out There' collection 2 times.
As a reward, you&rsquo;ll get the UFO Monument.


Additionally, if you complete 'The Truth Is Out There' collection 4 times, you'll be rewarded with the Crop Circles. Please notice: after completing the event, you won&rsquo;t be able to continue acquiring items for 'The Truth Is Out There' collection without prior purchasing an UFO Set with Airport Cash.

Thanks Fred, it is what I was wondering earlier. It is a shame! I'm angrier and angrier against GI this evening lol Because you don't have the choice as the event closes up itself once you have completed all the tasks, and you can not choose in which order you will complete all the tasks as you need plasma to find maps, but when you find plasma you can also complete UFO collection without really wanting it!

I have already completed 1 UFO collection and I don't even have a jet yet, so I will never be able to complete 4 TTIOT, before the 5 others

I guess, you can delay the completion by not checking "collect" on the popup with the collection items? i mean the one that apears when you tap on the gift box on the bottom?

Yep I think so. But with this solution I would be afraid of GI famous and marvelous crashes and bugs Imagine you have collected all your five collections and then boom GI just crash and you just lost all your collection. I know I know this would never happen, Airport City is such a wonderful, faultless game which never crashes and has no glitches ever (irony there).

I somehow finished the quest.

The end product is a very weary UFO monument that doesn't look at all spectacular considering the effort.

I'd suggest that unless you are close to completion, you ditch this quest.
