On metropolis you can't invite people you know, it gives you people to invite instead. I have found paradise city though.... It is another GI game but does let you invite people by username and gift to each other. Anyone fancy building an island?

You can invite people on Megapolis via Facebook, several of us on the forum have set up "Fakebook" accounts to use with AC and Tribez. If you set one up we can invite each other that way.

Hopefully it's just a temporary problem with your internet connection. Have you tried rebooting the router?

All building requirements have been met for the current upgrades. Need more coins to work on other upgrades.
What I need now is plane repair items, cockpit glass, spare propeller, empennage, spare tire, light engine, jet engine etc. It seems my planes are in constant need of repair since I fly so much.

yes it is but I have not experienced the same problems as with AC. You can always visit friends, see them, lots of potential to make green money, but lots of ways to spend it as well.We should look into this. It's not GI, is it?

I've been trying and testing.....
Metropolis - + point is it's not GI, but then I'm playing and honestly don't know what I'm doing! Not structured for tasks etc, just about growing a city. And need loads of coins t do anything so takes a lot of time. Also you can't play offline to keep things going. What does anyone else think?
Paradise island - it is a GI game. Structured tasks and can in invite friends without Facebook. I'm enjoying this more than metropolis. Nice having a paradise island now it's getting to winter here! Name - ping island.
2020 my country - GI game, can't inviter friends till level 6 which seems pretty hard to get to. Looks like you need to spend real money to get anywhere.
So far my vote is paradise island, Haven't tried big business yet.... But happy to switch if people are moving to that....

Been playing Megapolis for two days now, like you don't really know what I'm doing, but it is starting to make a little sense. Only being able to add forum friends via Facebook is a pain, but I suppose if a few of us get into it things will improve. You can just add random people, so it's not all bad. I for one will not download another GI game, as I've said before it's a great pity because I do like their games, but not their attitude. Leaving MEGAPOLIS (I don't think its Metropolis, sorry for myself mentioning that before), we big business, which is too hard to keep up, so that's disqualified. Paradise Island is ok, but really, a lot amount of money is needed for expansions, and there are no quest system (at least when I had played about 6 mths ago). The only thing we get is 'Please help me, I have lost my way' and 'Medusa stung me'. Its a really slow and boring game for me. I spend maximum time playing Clash of Clans.
Saying the truth, yesterday was the first time I have ever missed (intentionally) a daily reward.
