Hi everyone, at the moment I'm about to finish the Mission Control Center to start a space ship. The only things missing are the 4 Spaceship Launch Consoles. As far as I know they can only be provided by friends. Is that correct? If so, I would be very happy if someone add me as a friend and supports me with the missing Spaceship Launch Consoles! New update along with the Thanksgiving Day quest. idk if any problem has been solved.

It requires :

1. To land 30 guest planes.
2. Collect 3 thanksgiving cakes from specified flights.
3. Collect the Pioneer Trail collection 3 times, the one which we had to do in a quest some days ago. They drop from quite a number of residential buildings.

It should be quite an easy quest to complete, if drop rates are good.

Upon update, game took a full five minutes to open the first time on my iPhone 4S and my iPad, and another five minutes for the challenge to appear on the left side.

They have put one thanksgiving collectible item from that collection in most flight destinations, with one destination per plane type having all five items that drop very seldom. Since the drop rate is the same, it makes the most sense to re-buy a fleet of nine prop planes and take full advantage of the shorter flight durations. There are no new thanksgiving flights, so finishing the quest as soon as possible makes sense.

There are five excavation flights that look permanent (not tied to thanksgiving challenge) and require a map to fly, and drop map sets. Two of these are new and I haven't figured out what you get (maybe similar to pyramid, stonehenge and temple).

Click on a flight destination picture (left side of flight list), and it now tells you what you get as a prize for each star.

Also, tapping now is limited to one building at a time - no longer can we tap once and click two or three buildings at the same time.

Yup. My ipad is locking up after a couple of taps and resetting. I'm now terrified that the dreaded time travelling pop up is going to appear but the game is virtually unplayable at present.

Yet another GI mess up!

After updating my ipad mini and our ipad 2 it takes 5 mins to boot.

Then it's almost impossible to navigate around as the game freezes constantly before crashing. Then another boot up is required and all fame progress is lost.

I think this maybe the last straw! I've been patient as many others have anticipating a fix to my lads unfairly restricted airport like the android players have received but nothing. Then to top off a long list of glitches & restrictions I'm now unable to play atall on 2 devices.

I think they've long decided that iOS users are not worth the game developers time & money! Perhaps apples constant iOS updates mean there having to spend to much time on game development. It seems to me that every different version of ipad and iPhone all behave differently after each update. It seems the older your apple device is the less it works after each iOS update. My opinion is that GI's game developers don't care or can't cope!

Long distance items please. My sons Airport is called "Rigby's city" He can't gift anymore as he's been unfairly penalised.

Well, GI have certainly excelled themselves with today's "downgrade."
As previously observed, the game is now virtually unplayable on the iPad. It take an age to load, then any selection from the icons at the bottom of the screen take about four minutes to respond.
Non of the problems with visiting neighbours seem to have been rectified, so what good is this "downgrade" ?
The game was a mess before, but now it's a complete dog's breakfast.

Think you're right about the problem being server related, if you switch off WiFi things move faster within the game

A short cut to get to some warehouse items - tap the store (sunshine) button on the right and it comes right up.

Also notice that the passenger icons above residential buildings "gray out" when your terminal is already full of passengers.

Looks like I'm not going to update for now after reading all these horror stories. That's just incredible!
How is it even possible for these people to mess up this game more and more after every update. There's certainly some talent in that....

After reading everybody's import I still upgraded now it takes a minute and a half just opened the game
Trying to visit someone that's another minute.. So that's 2 & 1/2 minutes and I haven't started playing

Does anybody know how to get these maps to the new destinations without having to buy them?

I see no alternative but the 1 greenie each so far. Me thinks this further proves that GI is a FOR-PROFIT corporation...
