I have completed the quest at 96, there was no point in keeping it open as I can't send gifts from there.
For anyone who is not aware the reward is a rock garden, it occupies 2x2 squares, gives 90 coins every 4 hours and adds 20 to your population.

I agree that this player is spoiling the spirit of the game for everyone else. However, the truth is that the prize for coming first isn't terribly exciting. The couple of gold tokens is probably the only thing unique to a first position, and we can function very well without those. I'm resigned to the fact that with this player spending masses of real money to achieve a fairly worthless prize, then I am better to go for a position in the top 10, or 20 against a couple of destinations. You still get a prize or two but you don't need to be so intense with the chase to complete flights. There seems to be some evidence to support the fact that many players are getting hacked off with the chase for the unattainable first prize so they aren't bothering with this element of the game. It's perhaps now slightly easier to get weekly prizes at the lower levels for fewer flights.

X-Ray scanner, router, arcade machine & smart glass please. The big problem with level 8 buildings is that once you have built them, you can no longer gift those items to anyone else.

I've never really paid much attention to this aspect of the game, I've received the occasional placing without trying. I really struggle to understand why anyone would spend loads of money to achieve a few gold tokens. They either have far more money than sense or they are exploiting some kind of hack.
It is the hacking aspect that really grieves me, I don't see the point of it, you play the game to achieve something, isn't that what it's all about. So many of us on this forum have been unfairly accused of cheating and blocked.
