Ok, I spoke too soon! All neighbours are being flagged as "away" at least on the iPhone version, too early for me to revisit from the iPad. Visiting seems to be ok on iPad, so Presumably it's either confined to the iPhone or another punishment for us "cheats". Illustrated guides are now dropping from neighbours cottages at last.
