Thanks for the radio components. Glad to see cottage cheese for the daily contest. I will start hoarding silver medals. First round of factory upgrades almost complete. Will have the following:
3 farms (all max)
2 mills (all max)
3 confectionary (all max)
8 dairy (3 @ level 5, 3 @ 4, 2 @ 3)
8 ranch (3@ level 5, 5 @ 4)
5 paper mills (all max)
3 sawmills (5, 4 & 3)
2 weaving (5 & 3)
2 furniture (2 @ 4)
1 toy (4)
1 food processing (1 below max)
1 mine (4)
2 oil refineries (5 & 3)
2 chemical (4 & 3)
1 cosmetic (2)

Will have most of the plants to max level except cosmetic factory by next week.
Plan is still hydro, radio and electronics to follow the complete upgrades. With two or more factories, I will not use the hammer, I want to save them up for the cosmetic, radio and electronics plants. Will also start upgrading the university for radio tech and perfumer. Will need those for the upgrades also. Good luck.

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and unfortunately discovered it too late to use the workaround for the steel details to open the port. In fact the steel bolt from a taxi came in almost immediately I reached that level. I was so pleased. Little did I know :-(

I have 11 donut shops and collect coins from them whenever I can and its been about 10 days now and I've only managed to collect 5 steel details! Is this REALLY the average collection rate? If so then it means it was an impossible task from the outset :-( I am rather disheartened by this as I still had over two days left to get the bonus crate when I started to collect the steels and thought I was guaranteed success within the deadline.

If anybody can give me an indication of how long/how often they take to collect (e.g. Every 200 collections etc) or whether there is any discernible pattern to help speed up the process I would be very grateful.

Odds say another 10 days, build more Donut Cafes and you'll get more quicker, but collect, collect, collect is all you can do.
