Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody had worked out the logic of what free gifts are available when you go to give one to somebody. For example, there are numerous people on this forum (me included) who are desperate for hammers so I have been trying to send them when I can but frequently I go into the gift screen and am presented with a trowel but no hammer so I can't send one. There also seems to be a level shown too so for example it will say 'Level 4 trowel'

Any ideas what the levels represent and how the free gifts work?

Level 8 against the trowel means you need to be at least level 8 to be able to send this gift. Similarly, you need to be at least level 10 to be able to send billboards.
When you receive a gift -- any gift -- you can send back anything available or nothing. It is entirely up to you. You are not expected to give hammers if you are given a hammer. You can give a chisel or a billboard or a flowerbed. Or a trowel and 30 billboards. You cannot choose what tool is available. It is random and depends on your level. You can send only 10 free gifts daily.

Aha, thank you. I was over complicating it thinking there were cycles of levels and gifts depending on who you were giving them to!



I seem never to get hammers come up as a choice to give as a gift these days.
Is this a GI ploy too I wonder ?

Not possible when only the newest quarry works and if I upgrade it, I just lose it when the new one comes at level 1 again. Very frustrating!

Dang that sucks.. So how do they expect you to get all that before the time runs out on the reward???

In the same boat as you. I complained but they said it was luck. I told them that was BS because it is impossible to finish in ten days. My time is up and I had everything prepped and I still only have 20 steel details.

I hope so! Even thought this is a world-wide game, it would be nice to have something for the Fourth of July. I mean, they have the Eiffel Towel, so we should get a Statue of Liberty, right??
